About SHIFT
Our mission
Better work.
Stronger organizations.
SHIFT is a research and learning hub focused on technology and the future of work and organizations.
Our mission is to understand how organizations respond to technological innovation and how they can use it to improve work and organizational performance. Through research, education, and policy engagement, we help shape a future of work that benefits people and society.
Healthcare serves as our living laboratory, providing opportunities to study these questions where organizational decisions directly affect professionals, patients, and communities. We aim to develop knowledge that can inform education, public services, and other sectors.
